Background Story
The Serdin and Kanavan Kingdoms, the biggest kingdoms on the Bermesiah Continent, coexisted in peace until their lands were slowly overcome by the evil Queen of Darkness, Kaze’aze.
Kaze’aze managed to infiltrate the Kanavan Kingdom by murdering the Kanavan Queen’s most loyal and trusted retainer, and then disguising herself as him. As a result, Kaze’aze was able to get close to the Queen and entice her with the ways of darkness.
Kaze’aze blinded the Queen of Kanavan’s eyes to truth and led her to wage a five-year war against the Serdin Kingdom. All of Bermesiah Continent was devastated; many heroes fell in battle, and even the Queen of Serdin sacrificed her life in hopes of ending the fighting.
The death of the Queen of Serdin broke Kaze’aze’s hold over the Queen of Kanavan, who, after finally regaining her senses, erupted with fury over Kaze’aze’s treachery. Kaze’aze escaped before the Queen of Kanavan could execute her. This lead the Queen to dispatch Trackers to punish the Queen of Darkness. But after years of searching, she was nowhere to be found and the Queen’s Trackers vanished as well; forcing the Queen of Kanavan to abandon her search.
The Serdin Kingdom experienced a series of bizarre incidents related to Kaze’aze after the Five-Year War: these events revealed that Kaze’aze manipulated the Kanavan and Serdin Kingdoms into fighting each other. The newly appointed Queen of Serdin is now determined to prevent Kaze’aze from starting another war between the two kingdoms for the sake of the entire continent.
The Queen of Serdin has prepared to confront Kaze’aze and counter her evil plans by organizing Grand Chase, an elite corps that will fight for all of Bermesiah.
Characters Information
Currently, there’re three characters for you to choose from: Elesis (knight), Arme (mage) and Lire (bowman). Below are some information of the characters:
ELESIS: THE KNIGHT
Elesis is a Kanavan knight, and daughter of a tracker who never returned after he was dispatched by the Kanavan Queen to find KazeAze. She is a talented fencer who trained by her father to use a sword since birth. While she on a journey to find her father, she heard news about KazeAaze in the Serdin Kingdom. Hiding her true identity, Elesis joined Grand Chase in hopes of finding her father.
Characteristics: Elesis is feared by her enemies for her powerful attack skills that can instantly wipe out entire groups of monsters. She leads her team at the front line of battle, advancing against enemies while defending her allies against enemy archers and mages. When she charges enemies, her team can destroy them without giving them a chance to retaliate. Elesis basically has 80% more defense points against archer's arrows, and suffers the least amount of delay among the Grand Chase members when inflicted with powerful damage from enemies.
Elesis's 1st Job Change: Spearman
Becoming a Spearman requires having the job change mission scroll, and completing every mission listed in the scroll's contents.
Spearman Characteristics:
A Spearman specializes in wielding a long spear, enabling Elesis to dodge strikes, and attack enemies from a safe distance. Attacking with a long spear requires different battle strategies than fighting with a sword.
Spearmen can use aggressive attack skills such as spear combo attacks, burning spear throwing attacks, and multiple stab attacks, although wielding a spear tends to impede characters from moving quickly.
LV 1: Force Strike - Strike the ground with a spear to ignite sparks.
LV 2: Compact Slash - Perform a spinning attack with a spear, concentrating power into the final blow.
LV 3: Fire Lance - Throw a burning spear to wipe out enemies in front of her.
Basic Combo - Spear Wield
Quick Multi Attacks - Jab a nearby enemy at extremely high speed.
Spearman Mission List:
300 fragments- Can be Hunt at Dungeons from Outter Wall of Serdin to Marsh of Oblivion
10 Orc Seal- Can be obtain at Orc Lords Temple
LIRE: THE ELVEN ARCHER
Elves from Eryuell Island are famous for their combat skills, but are naturally pacifistic and try to avoid involving themselves in conflict among humans. However, after the humans' war expanded across the entire continent and a series of bizarre incidents, the Elves decided to end their isolation and cooperate with the humans. Working together, the Elves and the humans discovered that KazeAaze is responsible for the havoc that is wrecking the continent. To return peace to Eryuell Island and the continent, the Elves have decided to continue investigating KazeAaze, and formed the Elven Corps to combat her evil. Lire is a member of the Elven Corps that has joined Grand Chase on behalf of Elves.
Characteristics: Lire specialize in powerful long range bow and arrow attacks, and can move quickly and stealthily. His only downside is that he is easily pursued by Knights, but he can overcome this vulnerability by using his environment to his advantage, waiting for the perfect opportunity to strike his foes down with a critical arrow shot.
Lire is designed for fighting game experts that are skilled in precisely controlling characters. If Lire is guarded by a Knight in combat, he can quickly destroy his enemies with a volley of accurately aimed arrow.
Lire's most remarkable special ability is his Double Jump.
Lire’s 1st Job Change: Crossbowman
Becoming a Crossbowman requires having the job change mission scroll, and completing every mission listed in the scroll’s contents.
Crossbowman Characteristics:
Crossbowmen use dual crossbows to rapidly fire multiple shots, and can move extremely fast.
They can jump to great heights depending on the player's skill, and can use visually breathtaking, special abilities such as Fan Shot, Harpy Hunt Shot, and Dance Tempest.
LV 1: Fan Shot - Fire a volley of arrows that spread and fan out.
LV 2: Dance Tempest - Recklessly fire arrows while dancing.
LV 3: Harpy Hunt Shot - A skill that was originally developed for Harpy hunting, but found to be very useful in battle. Inflict an incredible amount of damage by summoning a Harpy from the sky.
Jump - Players can control the height of the character's jump depending on how long the Jump key is pressed.
Dash - Lire is invincible during his Dash, from the Dash's start to when the Dash key is released, making it a very useful maneuver to escape from enemies.
Rainstorm - Jump, and the repeatedly hit the Down Arrow key at the apex of Lire's jump to cast Rainstorm, a skill that will inflict great damage to enemies below Lire.
Crossbowman Mission List
300 fragments- Can be Hunt at Dungeons from Outter Wall of Serdin to Marsh of Oblivion
10 Orc Seal- Can be obtain at Orc Lords Temple
ARME: THE MAGICIAN
Arme is cheerful mage from Serdin, the Kingdom of Magic. Her natural talent in mage earned her membership in the Violet Magic Guild, the greatest guild of the Serdin Kingdom, at an early age. She has mastered both Black and White Magic, but her curiosity about magic is still insatiable. Arme decided to join Grand Chase, hoping to encounter KazeAaze, after learning about the Queen of Darkness's powerful magic.
Characteristics: Arme is an ideal mage who freely casts offensive Black magic and defensive White magic spells. Enemies may laugh out loud at her physical weakness, but tremble in fear when her MP is fully charged.
Arme's powerful magic includes spells that can wipe out enemies over a wide area such as Lightning Bolt and Reverse Gravity. Enemies that witness the power of Arme's magic know that they're doomed if they allow her to charge her MP.
Arme's 1st Job Change: Combat Alchemist
Becoming a Combat Alcehmist requires having the job change mission scroll, and completing every mission listed in the scroll's contents.
Combat Alchemist Characteristics:
Combat Alchemists may not be as agile as Mages, but they possess the greatest offensive power of all the Grand Chase characters: they carry pots that contain bombs, land mines, and toxic gas for attacking enemies, and they occasionally create a random item to aid their owners.
These characters are especially used in parties since they can support their allies by healing and shielding in addition to using effective attack skills to defeat enemies. Combat Alchemists can be a great threat to their enemies depending on how they are used; their biggest drawback in battle is their slow movement.
A recent Grand Chase game update has increased the Combat Alchemist’s attack and defense potential: they can set invisible black magic land mines, spread toxic gas, and fire bazookas to attack enemies, and heal and shield friendly targets at close range with their white magic.
Combat Alchemist Skills
Black Magic
LV 1: Bomb Drop - Set an invisible land mine with black magic.
LV 2: Killer Cloud - Spread toxic gas.
LV 3: Blockbuster Explosion - Fire a bazooka.
White Magic
LV 1: Cure - Heal friendly targets within the skill's range.
LV 2: Magic Shield - Shield friendly targets within the skill's range.
LV 3: Make Item - Create a random item.

Dash Attack - Wield Pot
Air Attack - Throw Bomb

Additional Information for Lass, Ryan, Amy, Jin and Seighart
* Lass: A mysterious young man who is possessed by KazeAze and is released from her grasp by Grand Chase. Upon recovery, his only memories are his name, and him being controlled by KazeAze. He joins the Grand Chase to atone for his sins caused by his hands under the control of KazeAze, which still lingers in his mind. Lass has the best mobility among all characters which allows swift and stealth attack, but is weak in terms of attack power and defense. His alternate jobs are Mercenary, Dark Assassin, and Striper. Lass is an extra character and must be unlocked by finishing a specific quest.
* Ryan: A forest elf from Eryuell island living peacefully with animals, but after the war in Vermecia, most of the place has been destroyed and his beings are almost extinct. Hearing the calls of the nature, he trains with the spirit of his ancestors and joins Grand Chase to meet KazeAze and protect the forest with all his strength. Ryan is an extra character and must be unlocked by finishing a specific quest. Ryan is known for his ability to change into an animal and his brute force.
* Amy: The seventh character of Grand Chase, she was recently released in the Korean server and little is known about her in the present moment. She uses a pair of Chakram and combines dancing with fighting.Amy is Xenia continent's dancer and temple priestess. After the war between gods, she joined the Silver Knights, whose sole purpose is to oppose the gods controlled by darkness, but they are destroyed by the gods instead. She goes on a journey to persuade the controlled gods. Seeing that the Grand Chase defeated the god of Cuatal, she joins them in their adventure in Xenia. She can switch from attacking to assisting, which allows her to do both ally support and attack.
* Jin: Jin is the 8th character of Grand Chase. A member of the disbanded Silver Knights and an avid fan of Amy, he goes on a journey to search for the missing leader of the Silver Knights, Luther, while awaiting for the return of the Silver Knights. His true purpose is to protect his homeland, which is yet to be controlled by the God of Conquering. He joins the Grand Chase after knowing their purpose of stopping the God of Conquering. Being a martial artist, he is able to deliver extremely fast attacks using his fists and legs, capable of counter-attacking players, and is able to increase his attack power through his skill called Burning.
* Sieghart: Sieghart is the 9th character of Grand Chase. He was a renowned hero of Bermesiah 600 years ago, but disappeared in the midst of ruins. Reappearing in the times of Grand Chase, he tells the people that the Highlander gods saved him from death and gave him the gift of immortality. He joins the Grand Chase to stop the God of Conquering from a planned invasion to Bermesiah. Sieghart bears the name of Elesis' grandfather. Sieghart has a chargeable gauge to strengthen attacks (similar, though not identical to Jin's gauge) that fills over time, faster when damaged or dealing damage. He wields a long blade that, in contrast to Elesis' weapon, he holds in reverse. Like Jin, he appears to be adept in several styles of combat.
